The Anniversary was a huge success, money was raised for the 2nd boat launch and also the playground. The first piece of the new playground equipment arrived yesterday, and I think it will be a great addition to the campground. It is a sea-saw plane, looks like a lot of fun. We are now raising for a play structure. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported us in these fundraisers. Thanks also goes to the band, what a hit!!!!! Also thanks to everyone that donated items, supplies and their time.

Before I even start, I know it has been awhile since I wrote, you know how it is sometimes, busy!!!! The long weekend is fast approaching and the weather is sounding really good. Also, I should mention that we are having our 3rd Anniversary Celebration on Saturday Aug 16, 2008. Hot dogs from7-9, live band 8 til midnight, silver collection, bring your own lawn chairs and refreshments.!!!!! It should be a good time to come out and enjoy the lake. We have also been selling cement mushrooms for $5.00 each, all the proceeds are going to the playground, we are wanting to add to the equipment. I think that sums it up, oh yah the fishing well lots of little one, but it is still fun to get out there, so I am told.lol

Rain and more rain. This week it has been rainy, no hail, so no damage to any of the trailers, so that was good. Today it is a cold, windy, rainy day, a perfect day to stay in and play some cards or catch up on some sleep. Next week the weather is starting to look alot better. So polish those hooks and change the line in your rods and see you on the river.

Fishing is really good, catching lots of smaller ones, but getting a few keepers. Just a reminder July Long Weekend is coming up and we are having some events. At 4 we are having a parade, everyone is welcome to participate so decorate your bikes, quads, horses, dogs, whatever and join the fun. After the parade we will have kareokee and entertainment in front of the store, and finally at dusk we will be having our amazing fireworks show. This is, in my opinion, one of the best around, you will not be disappointed. So hope to see some old faces(Susan and Roger) and some new ones at the lake this coming weekend and weeks to come. Take care out there!!!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their help on Fathers day pancake breakfast. It was a huge success!!!! The money raised will go towards improving the playground. Hopefully we will be able to find some type of fort/slide combo. I do have picture, but I need a bit of time to upload them, so they are coming. Thanks again.

Father’s Day weekend is approaching. We are having a pancake breakfast on Sunday from 9am til 1130 am. $3.00 per plate, that include 3 pancakes, 3 breakfast sausages and your choice of coffee or juice. All the money raised will go towards making improvement in the playground. Fishing was great last weekend, according to the fish tubs, and the tubs don’t lie.
